Hi there! We have the privilege of partnering with Hands & Feet, a wonderful non-profit community service provider, to run a food program out of our church every fortnight for our local community.

Our program runs every second Thursday, where we pack food and grocery hampers then open the doors to serve the community. People are free to come and be served in our cafe space, and are given a food hamper to take with them for free.

You’ll have the opportunity to help pack food and grocery hampers, set up and clean the spaces we use for packing and serving, and be a welcoming face in our cafe as we serve those in need. Whether you want to jump in on one area or all of them, your involvement will make a huge impact.

Hi there! Here’s a wonderful chance for you to join us in making our Sunday services even more impactful.

At Dayspring, we believe that a warm and welcoming environment can make all the difference in helping people encounter God. As a House Host, you'll be at the heart of creating that atmosphere each Sunday.

Before the service begins you'll help set up the space, placing parking signs, welcome banners, and cones to guide people in. You’ll also ensure that the bathrooms, foyer, and auditorium are tidy, clean, and well-stocked—taking care of small details like emptying bins and making sure there’s toilet paper and hand towels. Our House Hosts are entrusted with counting the weekly offering (with a partner, as required for safety). After the service, you’ll help pack down signs, banners, and cones—so we're ready for the week ahead.
You may also be called on to assist with the set up of events like our Stations art exhibition, Christmas service and conferences.

We’re looking for people who love to serve, work well as part of a team, and can communicate effectively. Being flexible and adaptable is key, as you’ll need to step in wherever you're needed. Above all, it’s about having a heart to make people feel welcome and at home.

On your rostered week, you’ll gather at 8:50am for pre-service prayer and we encourage all House Hosts to join in our Quarterly All In Leaders meetings to stay connected with the wider Dayspring family. If you're new to volunteering, Safe Church Training is required within your first six months.

Hi! We have a special way for you to make a difference and be part of something amazing on Sundays.

We are passionate about leading people into a transformative encounter with Jesus through the arts, and our Sound & Lighting Team plays a pivotal role in supporting this vision by ensuring the technical side of our Sunday services runs smoothly. Whether it’s sound, lighting, or broadcasting, your contributions help create an environment where hearts can connect deeply with God.

As a member of the Sound & Lighting Team, you’ll serve in various roles such as a front-of-house sound engineer, monitor and lighting engineer, or broadcast sound engineer. You’ll be responsible for setting up and operating sound and lighting systems, mixing sound for the band, and ensuring everything is properly shut off after the service. There’s plenty of opportunity to learn and grow in this area, whether you’re a beginner or already have some experience. This role requires a heart to serve, a willingness to learn, and a love for working with technical systems. If you have a musical ear and are comfortable with audio and lighting equipment, or if you're eager to develop these skills, this is a perfect way to use your gifts to serve the church. You’ll also be part of a collaborative team, so strong communication and flexibility are key.

Hi! We’ve got a fantastic way for you to get connected and be a part of something meaningful at Dayspring on Sundays.

We’re excited to invite you to join our Welcome Team, where you'll be playing a key role in making our church feel like home for everyone who walks through the door! Whether they’re new or long-time members, your smile and warm welcome will set the tone for their entire experience.

As part of the Welcome Team, your main responsibility will be to greet everyone with kindness and help them feel at ease as they arrive. You'll be involved in ushering—helping people find seats, offering buckets during the service, distributing communion, and directing them to the bathrooms and kids' rooms. You’ll also be proactive in connecting with newcomers, making sure they feel seen and valued during the break and after the service.

This role is all about creating a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone, so we’re looking for someone with a heart to serve, great communication skills, and a warm, friendly demeanor. You’ll also need to be flexible and ready to help out wherever needed, as things can sometimes change on the fly.

Our vision for Dayspring Worship is to lead people into
encounters with Jesus through the arts. Music is a platform that creates space to meet with God.

As a Worship Band member, your role goes beyond just playing music—it’s about living out your personal relationship with God in such a way that it overflows into our corporate worship time on Sundays. What happens during corporate worship comes out of what’s happening in our hearts throughout the week.

We don’t have mid-week rehearsals. Instead, we send out the song list, chats and links by Tuesday evening, giving you time to familiarise yourself with the music at a time that suits you, so that our Sunday morning rehearsal, is about working well together as a team. This prepares us to be able to flow with the Spirit in the moment, rather than just learning the songs.

Soundcheck/rehearsal for the 9:30am service begins at 7am, with prayer starting at 8:50am before the service begins at 9:30am. For Sunday 5PM Worship & Prayer, soundcheck/rehearsal is from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.

We do have an audition process for those wishing to join the Worship Band, and once you express interest, we’ll walk you through the details of the process, as it differs depending on the role you're applying for.

Being a part of the Worship Band means being a committed team member. You’ll need a heart to worship God through your instrument and a willingness to serve and love others. Teamwork, communication, and a willingness to learn and grow are essential.
